A magical and unforgettable adventure awaits San Jose! Wizard of Oz, the stunning new production from Andrew Lloyd Webber of an acclaimed theatre classic, is on tour and will join Broadway San Jose’s blockbuster 2015-2016 season. Opening on January 29, 2016, Wizard of Oz plays the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts until February 4, 2016.

Developed from the acclaimed and ever popular MGM film that starred Judy Garland, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Wizard of Oz features all your favorite moments and iconic characters like Dorothy, The Wicked Witch of the West, Toto, Scarecrow, Lion, Tin Man, the Winged Monkeys and more. An enchanting and all-new stage adaptation of a classic tale, Wizard of Oz includes new songs from Webber and Rice and exciting new surprises that are sure to delight its San Jose audience. A fantastic treat for the whole family, Wizard of Oz lets you find new magic just over the rainbow.

Click your heels and follow the yellow brick road as Wizard of Oz opens at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts on January 29 (Friday) at 7:30 PM. The regular performances are at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturday (January 30), at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on Sunday (January 31), and at 7:30 PM from Tuesday to Thursday (February 2 to 4). With a 15-minute intermission, each performance runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
