There’s new magic over the rainbow in Pittsburgh this new Year! Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stunning new production of a much loved all-time classic musical, Wizard of Oz joins the stellar 2015-2016 season of PNC Broadway Across America – Pittsburgh. Opening on January 5, 2016, Wizard of Oz has a limited engagement at the Heinz Hall for eight performances only until January 10, 2016.

This January, revisit the original tale of the powerful and mysterious wizard in the land of Oz that has been captivating its audiences across generations. Inspired by L. Frank Baum’s story and developed from the screenplay of the well-loved MGM film version, this exciting new production of Wizard of Oz is the enchanting musical treat that is perfect for the whole family. Wizard of Oz features all the iconic characters and favorite moments we all loved with exciting new surprises and delighted new songs from the Tony award winning team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Click your heels and go on an unforgettably magical adventure as Wizard of Oz takes center stage at the Heinz Hall at 7:30 PM on January 5 to 7 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on January 8 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on January 9 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on January 10 (Sunday). With an intermission, Wizard of Oz plays for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
