Philadelphia, watch out for the winged monkeys! The Wizard of Oz, the exciting new show from Andrew Lloyd Webber, will have its week-long run on June 3 to 8, 2014 at the Academy of Music as an Exclusive Extra of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts’ Broadway Philadelphia 2013/14.

Inspired by the classic 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum and adapted from the iconic 1939 MGM film, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz takes its Philadelphia audience to the enchantingly beautiful Oz to join the magical adventure of Dorothy and her friends. With its well-loved tale, delightful score, and stunning sets, The Wizard of Oz is a fabulous musical treat that is simply perfect for the whole family.

Don’t miss the spectacular Wizard of Oz shows nightly at the Academy of Music on June 3 to 5 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM and on June 6 and 7 (Friday and Saturday) at 8 PM, with special matinees at 2 PM on June 5 and 7 (Thursday and Saturday) and at 1 PM on June 8 (Sunday).
