Motown The Musical, the phenomenal hit Broadway musical based on Motown founder Berry Gordy’s autobiography, is set to usher in the New Year for the PNC Broadway Across America in Pittsburgh! Opening on December 30, 2014, Motown The Musical will be at the Heinz Hall for eight performances only until January 4.

A featherweight boxer by profession, Berry Gordy became the founder of Motown and the music mogul behind the successful launch of the careers of Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, and many more. But Motown The Musical is not just Gordy’s story; it is also the story of the music that transformed the American society. Motown The Musical features songs like “Aint No Mountain High Enough,” “My Girl,” and other unforgettable classics that represent the best of Motown music.

Motown The Musical will be at the Heinz Hall on December 30 to January 1 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on January 2 (Friday) at 8:00 PM, on January 3 (Saturday) at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on January 4 (Sunday) at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
