Get into the groove this spring! Motown The Musical, the smash hit and new musical from the Great White Way based on Motown Records founder Berry Gordy’s life story, is part of the blockbuster 2015-2016 season of Kimberly Clark Broadway Across America Fox Cities. Opening on April 5, 2016, Motown The Musical has an eight-performance engagement at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center until April 10, 2016.

Motown The Musical, the record breaking Broadway hit directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, follows the story of Berry Gordy and takes its Appleton audience behind the scenes to discover the stories behind some of the most legendary Motown hit songs that became instrumental in shattering the constricting barriers of racially divided America. From a young man aspiring to be a great featherweight boxer, Berry Gordy’s destiny takes him to a different path to become the heavyweight music tycoon behind the celebrated careers of the likes of Diana Ross, Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, Michael Jackson, and a lot more.

Move to the beat as Motown The Musical takes over the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center stage on April 5 to 8 (Tuesday to Friday) at 7:30 PM, on April 9 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 7:30 PM, and on April 10 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. Each performance runs for 160 minutes with one 15 minute intermission.
