The City of Angels welcomes the very best of the early days of Motown music to the Pantages Theatre in the spring of 2015.
The music of Motown lives on in this critically acclaimed hit from Broadway based on the life and times of Berry Gordy — The man behind the music of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Jackson Five, and countless other chart-topping acts that shaped the sound and soul of Motown. From his beginnings as the founder of Motown Records, through his relationship with star, Diana Ross, it’s a jukebox musical filled with all the familiar songs that you can’t help singing along to.
Join the party at LA’s Pantages Theatre from April 28 running all the way through June 7, 2015. Evening shows are at 8:00pm on all nights except Sunday when the curtains will rise at 6:30pm. Afternoon matinees are scheduled at 2:00pm on Saturdays and 1:00pm on Sundays. Motown the Musical has a running time of 2 hours and 40 minutes with an intermission.
