Motown the Musical Buffalo | Shea’s Performing Arts Center

Fresh from its record-breaking success on the Great White Way, Motown The Musical is finally on its way to Buffalo for the exciting 2014-2015 M&T Bank Broadway Series! Opening on January 20, 2015, Motown will rule the Shea’s Performing Arts Center stage until January 25.

Motown The Musical is the new hit Broadway musical that pays tribute to Motown music that knocked down racial barriers and helped to shape American culture. Inspired by the autobiography of Berry Gordy, the music mogul who founded the Motown label and who launched the careers of the likes of Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, Motown The Musical features some of the most memorable classic songs of the age like “My Girl” and “Aint No Mountain High Enough.” It also tells the stories behind many Motown hits, and what it was like to be part of the Motown family.

Celebrate the very best of Motown music as Motown The Musical plays the Shea’s Performing Arts Center on January 20 to 22 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on January 23 (Friday) at 8 PM, on January 24 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on January 25 (Sunday) at 2 PM and 7 PM.
