Pippin San Jose | San Jose Center for the Performing Arts

A lost prince wanders to San Jose this January. Pippin, the high-flying musical extravaganza featuring the awe-inspiring acrobatic numbers of Les 7 Doigts De La Main, opens the new year for the 2015-2016 Broadway San Jose. Opening on January 5, 2016, Pippin has a limited eight-show run at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts until January 10, 2016.

Winner of four trophies in the 2013 Tony Awards that include Best Musical Revival, Pippin features breathtaking acrobatics, amazing magical feats, and memorable songs. Telling the tale of a confused young prince trying to discover the meaning of his life, Pippin is the classic coming-of-age musical from Stephen Schwartz that jumpstarted the career of Bob Fosse. As Pippin ventures out on his quest, he must face the uncertain realms of love, politics, war, and religion. Will Pippin finally discover what he searches for? Directed by Diane Paulus, Pippin is the jaw-dropping, eye-popping, and spectacular show that San Jose should not miss!

Behold a young man’s unforgettable journey to be extraordinary as Pippin takes center stage at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 PM on January 5 to 7 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on January 8 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on January 9 (Saturday) and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on January 10 (Sunday). Pippin runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes with one intermission.
