Pippin Pittsburgh | Benedum Center

Pippin Pittsburgh | Benedum Center

It’s an unbelievably fantastic New Year for Pittsburgh! Pippin, the revival production of the adored Broadway classic from Stephen Schwartz, will be in town for the 2014-2015 PNC Broadway Across America in Pittsburgh. Opening on January 20, Pippin will take over the Benedum Center stage until January 25, 2015.

A young restless prince sets out to discover the meaning of his existence. Along the way, he must choose whether to live a simple yet happy life or to risk everything he has for just a single flash of glory. Winner in the Best Musical Revival category in the 2013 Tony Awards, Pippin is helmed by acclaimed director Diane Paulus (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, Hair) and features spectacular acrobatics choreography by Les 7 Doigts De La Main.

Be amazed by the awe-inspiring Pippin performances at the Benedum Center on evenings of January 20 to 22 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on January 23 and 24 (Friday and Saturday) at 8:00 PM, and on January 25 (Sunday) at 6:30 PM. The weekend matinees are at 2:00 PM on January 24 (Saturday) and at 1:00 PM on January 25 (Sunday).
