Newsies Miami | Adrienne Arsht Center

After captivating Broadway audiences, the defiant newspaper boys have hit the road and are charting a course for Miami during its 2014-2015 Broadway season. Newsies, the box office smash musical from Disney Theatrical Productions, has an eight-performance run at The Adrienne Arsht Center on February 3 to 8, 2015.

Inspired by the real-life New York’s Newsboys Strike in 1899 and the hit movie of the same name, Newsies is the riveting tale of a band of newspaper delivery boys who dared to take a stand for what is right even if it meant standing up to the Big Apple’s most powerful men. Newsies is an electrifying explosion of high-energy dancing and spirited singing that won the Tony Awards for Best Choreography and Best Original Score categories in 2012.

Newsies plays The Adrienne Arsht Center on February 3 to 6 (Tuesday to Friday) at 8 PM, on February 7 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on February 8 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 7 PM. Newsies runs for 140 minutes with one intermission.
