Hear ye, hear ye! The newsboys are on tour and will be part of the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s exciting 2014/2015 Broadway Series. Newsies, the hit and acclaimed musical from Disney Theatrical Productions, will be at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas from April 29 to May 10, 2015 for 16 performances only.
Based on the 1992 film by the same name, Newsies is inspired by true events and tells the captivating tale of a band of newsies or newspaper delivery boys who stood up to New York’s most powerful men. Winner of the Tony Awards for Best Choreography and Best Score in 2012, Newsies is a high-energy, incredible explosion of dance and song that Dallas shouldn’t miss!
Catch Newsies as it plays the Winspear Opera House at 8:00 PM from Tuesdays through Saturdays and at 7:30 PM on Sundays. Matinee performances are at 2:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
