Cabaret San Francisco | SHN Golden Gate Theatre

This summer, leave the world’s troubles outside and experience the beautiful life at the cabaret! Cabaret, Rob Marshall and Sam Mendes’ Tony Award winning production of the beloved classic Broadway show, returns to captivate the San Francisco theatergoers once again. Opening on June 21, 2016, Cabaret comes alive on the SHN Golden Gate Theatre stage until July 17, 2016.

A stunning production from the Roundabout Theatre Company to celebrate its 50th Anniversary Season, Cabaret takes it San Francisco to pre-World War II Berlin in Germany. Aspiring young American writer Cliff Bradshaw travels to Berlin in search for inspiration. Fresh off the train, he soon finds his way to the infamous and gaudy Kit Kat Klub that personifies the decadent night life of the city. There, he meets Sally Bowles, a beautiful and young Englishwoman who leads the raucous ensemble that perform nightly at the Kit Kat Klub. As their relationship becomes deeper and more complex, life in Berlin also grows more uncertain.

Have a taste of Berlin’s night life as Cabaret takes over the SHN Golden Gate Theatre stage from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 8 PM. The matinee shows are at 2 PM every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. With one 15-minute intermission, the run time of Cabaret is 150 minutes.
