Cabaret Nashville | Andrew Jackson Hall

Cabaret Nashville | Andrew Jackson Hall

Make it a date as the classic Tony Award winning production Cabaret hits the stage at Andrew Jackson Hall in Nashville for a week of first class entertainment kicking off February 27 and running through March 4, 2018.

Set in early 1930s Berlin with the Nazi regime gaining strength, Cabaret tells the story of Cliff Bradshaw, a young American writer and a British cabaret performer, Sally, who meet at the Kit Kat Club. When Sally gets thrown out by her boyfriend, she and Cliff starts living together and find love. When she gets pregnant amidst the rising unrest in the city, difficult decisions must be made for both lovers.

Called “exhilarating and yet harrowing” by Time Out New York, this work of art will have you sobbing into your hankie one minute and experiencing a feeling of ecstasy the next. There isn’t a dull moment with Cabaret as the evergreen tunes by John Kander & Fred Ebb such as “Maybe This Time” accompany its awesome visuals with perfect symphony to produce that unique unforgettable feeling. I wouldn’t miss this classic during its brief Nashville run.
