Cabaret Costa Mesa | Segerstrom Hall

Cabaret Costa Mesa | Segerstrom Hall

An acclaimed and hit Broadway classic returns to theatre stage and is making its way to Costa Mesa! Cabaret, Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall’s Tony Award-winning musical production, is part of the 2015-2016 season of Broadway Across America Orange County. Opening on August 9, 2016, Cabaret has a two-week run at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts until August 21, 2016.

Welcome to the seedy Kit Kat Klub, an infamous bar in pre-WWII Germany, and let Sally Bowles, the Emcee, and the club’s raucous ensemble entertain and tantalize you to make you forget about the troubles outside. Set during the Nazi Party’s rise to power, the story of Cabaret revolves around a young writer from a America and his relationship with the star performer of the Kit Kat Klub. Cabaret is based on Christopher Isherwood’s novel and John Van Druten’s subsequent stage play. With musical score by Fred Ebb and John Kander, Cabaret gives the theatre world some of the most unforgettable songs on stage like “Willkomen,” “Maybe This Time,” and, of course, “Cabaret.”

Your table is waiting! Don’t miss Cabaret as it plays the Segerstrom Center for the Arts at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Fridays, at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Saturdays, and at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM on Sundays. Cabaret runs for two hours and 30 minutes.
