The sweet music of the one and only Carole King will fill the Stephen Sondheim Theatre as the story of the classic songtress is told for the first time on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical brings the story of the iconic songwriter to the Broadway stage. As a teen, she was already writing songs professionally. Her partnerships with other songwriters Cynthia Weil, Barry Man, and Gerry Goffin – who also becomes her first husband – catapulted her career. But the eventual breakup of her marriage with Goffin is when she finds her own voice as a solo artist and leads her to becoming a voice of a generation.

Grand opening night at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York is on January 12, 2014. Evening performances are at 8:00pm on Wednesdays through Saturdays, with matinees at 2:00pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and at 3:00pm on Sundays.
