Avenue Q New York | New World Stage

Avenue Q, a Triple Crown winner (Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score) of the Tony Awards, has been tickling its audience since it opened in its Off Broadway home in October 21, 2009. Avenue Q is currently on its open run at the New World Stage.

Meet Princeton, a bright-eyed and hopeful college graduate who comes to the Big Apple with big dreams and meager resources. He moves into a shabby apartment on Avenue Q and meets various colorful characters who live in the same building – Trekkie (the Internet addict), Rod (a Republican banker), Brian (a comedian), Kate (a girl-next door type), and a lot more. Together, they struggle to find dates, jobs, and their respective purpose in life.

Catch the witty and funny performances of Avenue Q nightly at the New World Stages at 8 PM every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and at 7:30 PM every Sunday. The weekend matinee shows are at 2:30 PM every Saturday and at 3 PM every Sunday.
