The Little Mermaid Sacramento | Community Center Theater

Princess Ariel and her friends are swimming their way to Sacramento! The Little Mermaid, the enchanting musical inspired by the widely loved and hit Disney animated feature movie of the same name, joins the blockbuster 2015-2016 Broadway Sacramento series. Opening on February 2, 2016, The Little Mermaid has a very limited eight performance engagement at the Community Center Theater until February 7, 2016.

A mermaid princess in an undersea kingdom, Ariel yearns to experience the human world and longs to be with the human prince she loved from afar. Despite her friends’ warnings and without her father’s knowledge, Ariel seeks the help of a vicious sea witch named Ursula. But for Ariel to have the pair of legs she has always wanted, she must give up her voice. Will Ariel’s dreams finally come true? With beautiful music by Alan Menken, The Little Mermaid features delightful songs like “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World.”

Join Ariel in her adventures from her undersea kingdom to the human world beyond as The Little Mermaid takes center stage at the Community Center Theater nightly at 8 PM on February 2 to 6 (Tuesday to Saturday). The matinee shows are at 2 PM on February 4, 6, and 7 (Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). The run time of The Little Mermaid is 2 hours and 20 minutes with one intermission.
