Something Rotten, whose creative team is led by Tony award-winning director Casey Nicholaw, tells the story of the Bottom brothers, Nigel and Nick Bottom, who aim to achieve success with their own plays in an environment dominated by legendary writer William Shakespeare. Desperate, they visit a fortune teller who reveals that the future of stage plays would combine singing, acting and dancing all at once, information that leads the brothers to attempt to write the first ever musical.
