This fall, the legendary Broadway musical ‘Les Miserables’ returns to Oklahoma City for a week-long engagement at the Civic Center Music Hall from October 9 to 14, 2012.
For more than 25 years, this Boublil and Schonberg theatrical masterpiece has consistently outdone itself with every revival. Renowned producer Cameron Mackintosh has pulled all the strings to ensure that this re-launch, in time for the musical’s 25th anniversary, will be better, more resonating and more remarkable than all the previous versions of ‘Les Mis’. Revamped, vividly re-imagined and re-energized, this new staging immortalizes the works of its original author Victor Hugo, with his visual masterpieces used as the basis for the refreshingly stirring scenic designs, highlighting a more compelling story that is gripping, relevant and relatable, and most importantly, utterly inspiring.
‘Les Miserables’ will play the Civic Center Music Hall at 7:30 PM from October 9 to 13 and 6:30 PM on October 14. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on the 13th and 1 PM on the 14th. The performance running time is 2 hours 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
