A touching tale of love will unfold in Oklahoma City this January. Once, the captivating, record-breaking, and award-winning Broadway show about the power of music and love that won in as Best Musical in the 2012 Tony Awards, joins the stellar 2014-2015 Oklahoma City Broadway Season. Opening on January 13, 2015, Once take the spotlight at the Civic Center Music Hall until January 18, 2015.
Eight-time Tony awardee in 2012, Once is the acclaimed and top grossing Broadway production inspired by the Academy winning indie movie with the same name. Retelling the beautiful yet complex love story of an Irish busker and a Czech flower vendor, Once brings its audience to the streets and pubs of Dublin to experience the power of dreams, music, and love. With an enchanting musical score by Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard, Once also features John Tiffany’s direction and Edna Walsh’s book.
Experience the theatrically breathtaking Once performances at the Civic Center Music on January 13 to 15 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on January 16 (Friday) at 8 PM, on January 17 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on January 18 (Sunday) at 2 PM and 7 PM. The running time of each Once performance is 2 hours and 15 minutes with one intermission.
