An exciting holiday season awaits Washington DC! Flashdance The Musical, the well-loved musical about one girl with one dream and one chance to make it real, premieres at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Eisenhower Theater from on Christmas Day, December 25, and will run in Washington DC until January 19, 2014.
Adapted from the blockbuster Paramount Pictures movie that became the pop culture phenomenon celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Flashdance The Musical definitely captivates with its electrifying dance choreography and musical score that includes the greatest hits from the movie like Gloria, Flashdance-What A Feeling, Manhunt, I Love Rock and Roll, and Maniac.
This holiday season, cut up your sweatshirts and don your leg warmers as Flashdance The Musical opens at the Eisenhower Theater on December 25 (Thursday) at 7:30 PM. The regular evening shows from Tuesday to Friday are at 7:30 PM, with special Thursday matinees at 1:30 PM on December 26 and January 16. The regular weekend matinees are at scheduled 1:30 PM for Saturdays and Sundays.
