Electrifying dance and fantastic music will reverberate all throughout Vancouver this fall! Flashdance The Musical, the hit stage adaptation of the sensational film by the same name, will be part of the blockbuster 2014/15 Vancouver season of Broadway Across Canada. Opening on November 11, 2014, Flashdance The Musical runs at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre until November 16.
While balancing her day job as a steel mill welder and moonlighting gig as a flashdancer, the beautiful Alex Owens dreams of enrolling in a prestigious ballet academy and becoming a professional dancer. When her deepening romance with Nick, her steel mill boss, threatens to complicate her dreams, she learns the real meaning of love and how it can fuel the pursuit of her aspirations.
Be captivated and inspired as Flashdance The Musical plays the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at 8 PM on November 11 to 14 (Tuesday to Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on November 15 (Saturday), and at 2 PM and 7:30 PM on November 16 (Sunday). Inclusive of a 15-minute intermission, Flashdance The Musical runs for 150 minutes.
