Flashdance explodes on the Peabody Opera House stage with its limited week-long run in St. Louis on January 8 to 13, 2013.
Flashdance is the story of Alex, an 18-year old who dreams of entering the Shipley Dance Academy as she works as a steel mill welder during the day and a dancer by night. While pursuing her life-long dream, Alex discovers love along the way. Flashdance is about loving despite the odds, dreaming big, holding on to dreams, and making it happen. Aside from the classic hits like Gloria, I Love Rock & Roll, Manhunt, Flashdance – What A Feeling, and Maniac, this new stage production of Flashdance also features new and original songs that its St. Louis audience will surely love.

Catch the breathtaking Flashdance performances at the Peabody Opera House at 8 PM on January 8 to 12 and at 7:30 PM on January 13. The weekend matinees are scheduled at 2 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours 35 minutes with 1 intermission.
