One of Broadway’s most electrifying dance musicals is coming to Appleton this fall for the 2013-14 Broadway Season at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center! Flashdance The Musical, the spellbinding pop culture phenomenon, will be in Appleton on November 12 to 17, 2013.
Flashdance The Musical celebrates the 30th anniversary of the hit and iconic Paramount Pictures movie on which it was based with a new Broadway production and its US National Tour. Retelling the inspiring tale of Alex Owens, Flashdance takes its audience from the Pittsburgh steel mills and nightclubs to the Shipley Dance Academy to follow Alex as she pursues and strives to achieve her dreams.
Flashdance definitely sizzles on stage as it plays at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on November 12 to 15 (Tuesday to Friday) at 7:30 PM, on November 16 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 7:30 PM, and on November 17 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
