Evita Atlanta | Fox Theatre

After its phenomenal Broadway run, Evita is on the road and will conquer the Fox Theatre stage just before spring officially ends. This acclaimed musical written by Andrew Lloyd Weber has a limited six-day run in Atlanta on June 3 to 8, 2014.

Evita depicts the story of Eva Duarte Peron, the most powerful Argentinean First Lady to date. From her poverty-stricken beginnings, Eva pursued her ambitions and became an actress, model, and radio personality. Having wedded Juan Peron, she became her First Lady at 27 years old. Her extraordinary rise to power and political involvements were cut short when she succumbed to cancer when she was just 33 years old. Because of her great impact on Argentina, Eva’s passionate story lives on even decades after her death.

Catch the captivating performances of Evita at the Fox Theatre at 7:30 PM on June 3 to 5 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on June 6 to 7 (Friday and Saturday), and at 6:30 PM on June 8 (Sunday). The matinee presentations are at 2 PM on June 7 and at 1 PM on June 8.
