The cultural phenomenon that swept the Broadway audiences off their feet is coming to Calgary this summer! Wicked, one of the biggest, most acclaimed, and most successful musical productions from the Great White Way, will be at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for the Broadway Across Canada Calgary edition from July 23 to August 17, 2014.
Breaking box office records all over America and winning various awards, Wicked offers an interesting take on the story of the iconic witches in Oz, which spurs an entirely different appreciation of L. Frank Baum’s well-loved and classic tale The Wizard of Oz. With over 50 major awards under its belt, Wicked is the phenomenal and record-breaking Broadway musical that Calgary should not miss!
Catch the wickedly enchanting performances of Wicked at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium from Tuesday to Saturday evenings at 8 PM and on Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM. Aside from the 2 PM weekend matinee shows, there is a special 2 PM matinee presentation on July 24 (Thursday). With one 15-minute intermission, Wicked runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
