The Tony Award winning play and now an Academy Award nominated film, ‘War Horse’, comes to Portland’s Keller Auditorium for a week-long run from February 26 to March 3, 2013.

A tale of unwavering loyalty, unshakeable friendship and courage underscored by vividly imaginative scenic designs, life-like, life-size and intricately crafted horse puppets, and moving scores and tunes, ‘War Horse’ is an epic production that is sure to move audiences in sheer thrill and emotion as it chronicles the touching story between a young boy named Albert and his beloved horse Joey, who were separated by war and the limitations of age. Amidst the rubbles and the devastating aftermath of war, Albert’s courage and dedication leads him to a treacherous journey, setting aside all risks while grasping on every bit of hope to be reunited with Joey once again and this time, for good.

Show times for ‘War Horse’ are at 7:30 PM from February 26 to March 2 and 6:30 PM on March 3. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on March 2 and 1 PM on March 3. The performance running time is 2 hours and 40 minutes with 1 intermission.
