The jukebox musical, Motown, tells the story of the man behind the music from his humble beginnings as a record producer to his rise as one of the most respected names in the music industry.

Meet the man who launched the careers of many chart-topping radio hits in the Broadway jukebox musical, Motown. Based on Berry Gordy’s autobiography, it’s bound to be a night of non-stop toe-tapping hit after the other. Motown will play at the Civic Center in Des Moines on December 2 through 7, 2014. Performances start at 7:30pm from Tuesday through Saturday, with an afternoon matinee at 2:00pm on Saturday. Sunday shows start at 1:00pm and 6:30pm.
