With her magical umbrella, Mary Poppins will fly into the Fox Theatre on April 2 to 7, 2013 to bring to its Atlanta audience the kind of Broadway musical magic it has been known for.
The stage musical will take the audience to Cherry Lane in London during the Edwardian times to meet Mary Poppins, her friend Bert, Mr. and Mrs. Banks, the precocious yet naughty Banks children – Jane and Michael, and the rest of the characters that people all over the world has grown to love for more than 40 years. This stage adaptation of the Mary Poppins series by P.L. Travers and the 1964 movie from Disney features grand stage designs and new awesome dance routines while keeping true to the most important and memorable elements of both the film and the book series. Indeed, this musical is the Practically Perfect choice for the whole family to watch and enjoy.
The show times at the Fox Theatre are at 8 PM from April 2 to 6, 2013 and a matinee performance at 2 PM on April 6, 2013. On April 7, 2013, the performances of Mary Poppins are at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours and 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
