Kristin Chenoweth Books Short Concert Tour in February
Broadway star and fan favorite Kristin Chenoweth has booked a short concert tour coming February 2014. This will follow her upcoming performance at The Smith Center in Las Vegas, NV, on New Year’s Eve.
The concert performance will feature an array of Chenoweth’s most memorable songs and Broadway show tunes, including music from Wicked, Promises, Promises, Glee, and songs from her album Some Lessons Learned.
Chenoweth’s itinerary listed on her official website lists the February tour stops and dates as follows: February 5, 2014 in Lancaster, PA at the American Music Theater; February 7, 2014 in Brookville, NY at Long Island University; February 9, 2014 in Schenectady, NY at the Proctor’s Theater; February 12, 2014 in Louisville, KY at The Kentucky Center; and February 15, 2014 in San Antonio, TX at the Majestic Theatre.
Chenoweth is a veteran of the concert scene. Some of her many performances include a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall in 2004, a sold-out Los Angeles solo debut at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, an evening at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and the Washington National Opera’s 50th Anniversary Gala with Placido Domingo. She has also had the distict honor of playing a sold out solo concert at the famous Metropolitan Opera House. The incredibly accomplished stage, television, and film star won a Tony Award in 1999 for her role in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She was also nominated in 2004 for the performance she gave in the show Wicked. She has also won awards for her work in film and television including Pushing Daisies and Glee.
