Charlotte really loves Kinky Boots! Due to the theatergoers’ overwhelming demand, Tony Award winning Best Musical Kinky Boots will have its much anticipated return engagement in Charlotte as part of the Blumenthal Performing Arts’ blockbuster 2015-2016 Broadway Extras . Opening on December 29, 2015, Kinky Boots takes over the Belk Theater stage until January 3, 2016.

With his father’s death, the family business lands in Charlie Price’s lap. Making gentleman’s shoes, the company is already on the brink of bankruptcy when Charlie takes over. Struggling to save the company, Charlie finds help in the form of Lola, a drag performer who needs glitzy yet sturdy stilettos. Based on a true story, Kinky Boots features Cyndi Lauper’s Tony Award winning score and Harvey Fierstein’s inspiring book. Kinky Boots is choreographed and directed by Jerry Mitchell.

Reach new high heeled heights as Kinky Boots takes center stage at the Belk Theater at 7:30 PM on December 29 to 31 (Tuesday to Thursday), on January 1 (Friday) at 8 PM, on January 2 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on January 3 (Sunday) at 1:30 PM and 7 PM. The run time of Kinky Boots is 2 hours and 20 minutes with an intermission.
