Broadway in Chicago 2014 Features Phantom of the Opera, The Last Ship, Heartbeat of Home

Broadway in Chicago announced its upcoming 2014 Spring season line-up. This season features 4 premieres which include the pre-Broadway world premiere of Sting’s The Last Ship, the U.S. tour premiere of Motown the Musical, the North American tour of Heartbeat of Home, and the U.S. tour premiere of Buyer and Cellar as an off-season special.

The season will kick-off January 7, 2014 at the Oriental Theatre with Ghost the Musical, based on the Academy Award-winning film written by Bruce Joel Rubin. The show will run through January 19, 2014. Heartbeat of Home will begin March 4,2014 and run through March 16, 2014, also at the Oriental Theatre. Fan-favorite Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will run March 18-30, 2014 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. April 2-13, 2014, the production of Peter and the Starcatcher will run at the Bank of America Theatre. This will be followed by the launch of the national tour of Motown the Musical at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre April 22, 2014 with a run through July 13, 2014. April 30- May 11, 2014 The Wizard of Oz will run at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. This is followed by the Pre-Broadway premiere of The Last Ship at the Bank of America Theatre June 10- July 13, 2014.
