Book of Mormon Portland | Keller Auditorium

Book of Mormon Portland | Keller Auditorium

The hilarious and critically acclaimed musical ‘Book of Mormon’ will walk the talk and spread the good word in Portland when it returns to the Keller Auditorium from January 12 to 24, 2016 as part of its ongoing national tour.

Winner of nine Tony Awards including one for Best Musical honors, ‘Book of Mormon’ is a product of the creative and comedic geniuses who brought us TV’s South Park – Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with the upbeat and vivid songs and scores of Tony winner Robert Lopez of ‘Avenue Q’ fame. The musical follows two Mormon boys out to Uganda for an evangelical mission, however, that mission is about to take a funny and diabolical turn as neither of them has full knowledge of the scriptures and both of them get entangled in cultures and practices that are worlds apart from what they know in their home turf in Utah. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
