The young Mormon missionaries that took the musical theater world by storm are coming to Philadelphia for the 2013 – 2014 Broadway season at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Opening on July 29, 2014, The Book of Mormon will be at the Forrest Theatre until September 7, 2014.
One of the most successful, top grossing, and multi awarded shows on the Great White Way, The Book of Mormon puts in the spotlight two young and optimistic LDS missionaries in an evangelical mission to the north of Uganda. Hailed by The New York Times’ Brent Brantley as this century’s “best musical,” The Book of Mormon won 9 Tonys in the Tony Awards 2011.
