Book of Mormon Durham | Durham Performing Arts Center

Book of Mormon Durham | Durham Performing Arts Center

A pair of naïvely optimistic Mormon missionaries is on the road to Durham. The Book of Mormon, the sensational production that took the Great White Way by storm, anchors the Sun Trust Broadway at DPAC’s exciting 2013/2014 season. Opening on December 29, 2015, Book of Mormon plays the Durham Performing Arts Center until January 10, 2016.

On an evangelical mission to a tiny north Ugandan village governed by a murderous warlord, two young missionaries try to convert the locals to Mormonism. Alas, only one of the missionaries knows the Mormon scriptures by heart while the other has the propensity to mix in bits of science fiction with the Mormon doctrines. The Book of Mormon is the hilariously outrageous musical that is sure to tickle its Durham audience like no other shows can.

Book of Mormon plays in Durham from Tuesdays to Thursdays at 7:30 PM, on Fridays at 8 PM, on Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on Sundays at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
