Book of Mormon Chicago | The Privatebank Theatre

Book of Mormon Chicago | The Privatebank Theatre

The Tony Award winning musical The Book of Mormon returns to Chicago for an extensive run from June 28 – August 14, 2016 at the PrivateBank Theatre.

After its huge Broadway turnout in 2011 which earned rave reviews across the board and nine awards at the Tonys, Book of Mormon continues to draw huge laughs and also a bit of insight of what it’s like to be a missionary in a foreign country. From the makers of Comedy Central’s South Park and the composer of the hit Broadway musical Avenue Q, comes a hilarious musical about two naïve Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda to spread the good word. The problem is not that they are in a foreign land with entirely different customs and beliefs, but that they know little or nothing at all about their sacred The Book of Mormon.

The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission. Book of Mormon was last in Chicago from February 24 to May 17, 2015 playing the Bank of America Theatre.
