The captivating life of one of 20th Century’s bestselling singer-songwriters takes center stage in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. This Tony Award-winning musical focuses on the captivating life and career of pop music’s legend – Carole King.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical begins with plain Carole Klein, a young Brooklyn teenager who fought her way into the record business and managed to draw attention upon her composing skills, by creating her first hit song, Will You Love Me Tomorrow. She eventually becomes one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history when she meets her husband and songwriting partner, Gerry Goffin. Her dream of writing pop songs for some of the most influential artists in the music industry is finally a reality, as she produces a great number of hits for celebrities like The Drifters, The Monkees or Aretha Franklin. But it’s her first solo album, Tapestry, that reveals her true voice and inspiring talent.

The director for Beautiful – The Carole King Musical is Marc Bruni, also known for other numerous Broadway shows and tours including Book Of Mormon and Anything Goes, while the book is developed by Tony Award and Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath. King and Goffin, alongside composing duo and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann have written the soundtrack of a generation, including timeless classics such as: You’ve Lost That Lovin Feeling, You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman, So Far Away, You’ve Got A Friend, One Fine Day, Locomotion and Beautiful.
