Wicked Los Angeles | Pantages Theatre

Los Angeles theatre fans will be excited to know that their favorite Broadway musical, Wicked, reignites its previous success at the Pantages Theatre with a brand new production set to run at the same venue just in time for the holidays this year, from December 10, 2014 to February 1, 2015.

Wicked is the fascinating story of two witches from Oz, Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North. Both women forged a friendship during their younger years but their differences – physical, perspective-wise and most of all, social – have kept them on the opposite ends of the wizardry spectrum. Known as the prequel to The Wizard of Oz, this musical redefines the word spectacular with its lifelike set designs, colorfully vivid costumes, vivacious and whimsical characters, and songs like “Defying Gravity” that successfully transcend the theatre halls to mainstream consciousness. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
