War Horse Las Vegas | Smith Center for the Performing Arts

Reynolds Hall of the Smith Center for the Performing Arts proudly presents War Horse, the Best Play of the 2011 Tony Awards, as part of the 2013-2014 season of Broadway Las Vegas. This award-winning stage production runs in Las Vegas on October 2, 2014 to October 6, 2014.

War Horse tells the moving story of a half-Thoroughbred horse named Joey and a young boy named Albert Narracott. Joey was taken away from Devon, England and sent to the battle lines in France to serve the British army. Albert enlists and attempts to bring his horse back home, braving the dangers of war along the way. War Horse shows the face of real friendship, tenacity, courage, and undying loyalty. This stage production creatively presents the story with the use of life-size horse puppets that breathe, trot, and gallop all over the stage. War Horse is multi-awarded stage production that received the Best Play and four other Tony Awards in 2011.
