Take that highlighter to your calendar as the inspiring Broadway production, Waitress, is set for a week-long of entertainment at the Carol Morsani Hall in Tampa starting from April 24, 2018 running through the 29th.
This Diane Paulus directed sensation and with a story drawn from the acclaimed 2007 movie, Waitress follows Jenna Hunterson, a small town waitress and superb pie maker whose marriage is in shambles. Jenna meets her new gynecologist which swirls into a love affair, and with a pie contest coming up in a nearby town, Jenna believes she has it all figured out, how wrong she was.
Sara Bareilles delivers an array of original pop tunes including “You Will Still Be Mine” and “Everything Changes”. Waitress, referred to by the New York Magazine as a “sweet, sassy, passionate and delightful” production is a true delight everyone should experience before it escapes Tampa.
