The mysterious angel of music descends in Indianapolis this spring. Cameron Mackintosh’s The Phantom of the Opera, the stunning new production of one of the most beloved theater classics by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is part the 2015-2016 Broadway in Indianapolis. Opening on May 4, 2016, The Phantom of the Opera will be at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre for sixteen performances only until May 15, 2016.

On its new North American Tour, The Phantom of the Opera gives new life to the story of Christine Daaé, a talented and beautiful soprano who became the muse and obsession of a sinister musical genius. Based on Gaston Leroux’s Le Fantôme de l’Opéra , Cameron Mackintosh’s The Phantom of the Opera is the magnificent production with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Richard Stilgoe and Charles Hart. Better and grander than ever before, this new staging features new lighting and scenic designs, breathtaking special effects, and new choreography.

Experience the majestic opening night of The Phantom of the Opera at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre on May 4 (Wednesday) at 7:30 PM. The regular performances are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays through Thursdays, at 8 PM on Fridays, at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturdays, and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on Sundays. A special Thursday matinee is scheduled at 2 PM on May 5. With one 20-minute intermission, The Phantom of the Opera runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
