A magnificent summer awaits Cleveland! The Phantom of the Opera, the phenomenal and spectacular new production by Cameron Mackintosh of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s acclaimed and widely love theater classic, wraps up the blockbuster 2015-2016 season of Playhouse Square’s exciting Key Bank Broadway Series. Opening on June 15, 2016, The Phantom of the Opera has a four-week engagement at the State Theatre until July 10, 2016.
Following its sold out and acclaimed UK tour, The Phantom of the Opera is now touring North America and is all set to enthrall its Cleveland audience this summer! A phenomenal musical success, this breathtaking production is much bigger and way better than ever with director Laurence Connor’s new staging, Paul Brown’s new scenic design, Maria Björnson’s award winning costume design, and Scott Ambler’s exciting new choreography. One of the largest and grandest productions on tour, The Phantom of the Opera features breathtaking special effects and thrilling score performed by the cast with an orchestra of 52.
Listen to the music of the night as The Phantom of the Opera opens at the State Theatre on June 15 (Wednesday) at 8 PM. After the opening night, the regular The Phantom of the Opera shows are at 8 PM on Tuesdays to Fridays, at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturdays, and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on Sundays.
