The Lion King Pittsburgh | Benedum Center

The Benedum Center transforms into the African Pridelands with the four-week run of The Lion King on September 3 to 29, 2013. This marks the triumphant comeback of this phenomenal Disney musical after its record-breaking run in Pittsburgh in 2008 and kicks off the Benedum Center’s 2013/2014 season.

Experience the phenomenon that is The Lion King and be amazed with the breathtaking spectacle as the well-loved characters from the hit The Lion King movie come to life on stage. Aside from unforgettably breathtaking visual images, this well-loved and critically-acclaimed musical also features an unforgettable musical score that includes Can You Feel The Love Tonight, the award-winning song from Tim Rice and Elton John.

Revel in the rhythms of the Pridelands with the nightly performances of The Lion King at the Benedum Center at 7:30 PM from Tuesday to Thursday, at 8 PM every Friday and Saturday, and at 6:30 PM every Sunday (except on September 29). The weekend matinees are at 2 PM every Saturday and at 1 PM every Sunday, with a special matinee performance at 1 PM on September 26. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
