School of Rock tells the story of Dewey Finn, a talented rock guitarist who takes up a teaching role at an esteemed high school to relieve his financial stresses. While there, Dewey discovers that his charges have impressive music potential and turns them into a rock band with an aim to win the Battle of the Bands competition.
