The M & T Bank Broadway Series proudly presents Once, one of the most critically-acclaimed Broadway productions, as part of its 2013-2014 season in Buffalo, New York. Opening on March 25, 2014, 2012 Tony Awards” Best Musical Once has a six-day engagement at the Shea’s Performing Arts Center until March 30, 2014.
Once tells the poignantly beautiful tale of a Czech immigrant/flower seller and an Irish street musician whose paths cross in Dublin. He is almost ready to let go of his dream when she dissuades him and helps him achieve his dream by collaborating with him on his demo album. As their friendship deepens and as their chemistry grows, a profound yet complicated relationship develops. However, their dreams and ambitions may not go hand in hand with the love that developed between them.
