Meet-and-Greets with Idina Menzel, Billy Porter Served Up for Charity

The Broadway Inspirational Voices, Michael McElroy’s Grammy-nominated gospel choir, is hosting an online holiday auction in order to raise funds for the choir’s musical outreach program. Among the items up for auction are meet-and-greets with Idina Menzel and Tony Award winner Billy Porter, as well as VIP tickets to Broadway’s If/Then.

Proceeds from the auction will go towards furthering Broadway Inspirational Voices’ outreach programs which include working with children in residence at the Ronald McDonald house and bringing music programs into New York City schools, as well as expanding  “new and creative initiatives to bring music into the lives of those who need it most.”

Press notes describe the Broadway Inspirational Voices as being, “a dynamic gospel choir that is made up of members of the New York Theatre Community. They are a registered non-profit organization who perform in concert throughout the year, and also give back to the community by participating in charitable outreach programs that brings music to those in need.”

The auction will run through December 15, 2013 at 9PM. Additional items up for grabs include two VIP tickets to see Broadway’s Kinky Boots, four VIP tickets to see Broadway’s Wicked and a backstage tour of the Gershwin with original Wicked cast members, VIP tickets to a taping of Seth Speaks in Sirius XM Radio, a one-month Super Ninja Trial from Mark Fisher Fitness, a hand-charted and signed musical line from Stephen Schwartz, and a meet-and-greet with Anthony Rapp.
