Broadway legend and the Boublil and Schonberg classic ‘Les Miserables’ returns to New Orleans for a week-long run at the Mahalia Jackson Theater from October 30 to November 4, 2012.
A superbly moving production celebrating the fighter, the dreamer and survivor in each of us, ‘Les Miserables’ returns onstage with a revitalized scenic design inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo and a more compelling and well-paced storytelling that continues to stir emotions and motivate spirits after having been seen by more than 60 million people in more than 40 countries for more than 25 years. Critics never tire of praising this legendary masterpiece. The London Times hails this revival as “a five-star hit, astonishingly powerful,” while The New York Times writes it as “an unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish.”
Show times for ‘Les Miserables’ are at 8 PM from October 30 to November 3 and 7:30 PM on November 4 with matinee performances at 2 PM on November 3 and 4. The performance running time is 2 hours 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
