Les Miserables Miami | Adrienne Arsht Center

‘Les Miserables’, the legendary Broadway masterpiece from Boublil and Schonberg celebrates its 25th anniversary via a national tour. As part of its jaunt, this Cameron Mackintosh-produced revival will play the Ziff Ballet Opera House of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts from February 26 to March 3, 2013.

As timeless and timely as it can be, ‘Les Mis’ has never lost its touch, in fact as The Star Ledger observes, it has “improved with age”. Time has been good for this theatrical classic – its theme, more relevant and substantial than ever; its emotions, more compelling and grittier; and as for visual impact, its story of hope, redemption and survival is only best underscored by the thought-provoking and stimulating set designs largely inspired by the artworks of Victor Hugo, the author of the musical’s original novel. See for yourself what all the critics are raving about; The London Times hails it as “a five star hit, astonishingly powerful”, while The New York Times writes it as “an unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish.” Be infected with powerful motivations, be captivated with stirringly vibrant visuals and the rawness of human emotions, and dream the dream! This is ‘Les Miserables’! The performance running time is 2 hours 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
