Les Miserables Boston | Boston Opera House

Les Miserables Boston | Boston Opera House

Some say it’s “as good as the original” (The London Times), while some say it “actually exceeds the original” (NY1-TV), but whichever side you’re coming down with, you should dare not miss this “dynamically re-imagined hit” (The Star-Ledger), this is the 25th anniversary revival of the Boublil and Schonberg poignant masterpiece, ‘Les Miserables’, brought back onstage by acclaimed producer Cameron Mackintosh.

A story of tribulations, triumphs, struggles and survivals, ‘Les Mis’ is the living and artistic testament to the power and ability of the human spirit to resist adversity and celebrate life, in all its darkness and glory. This re-launch is even made more exciting because of its new and more vivid set design largely inspired by Victor Hugo’s artworks. Relive the show tune standards this musical is best known for such as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’, ‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’, ‘Empty Chairs at Empty Tables’, ‘One Day More’, ‘Stars’, ‘Master of the House’, ‘Bring Him Home’ and so much more. This revival has got critics all over the world talking and raving, with The New York Times calling it an “unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish”, and The London Times scoring it as a “five star hit”, even adding that it is “astonishingly powerful”. It is an epic, larger than life, and ultimately uplifting production, indeed, “Les Mis is born again” (NY1-TV).

Catch ‘Les Mis’ this spring for a two-week run at the Boston Opera House, from March 13 to April 1, 2012. The performance running time is 2 hours 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
