Last Ship Chicago | Bank of America Theatre

Singer and Pop Recording Artist, Sting, finally makes a comeback from an 8 year hiatus from songwriting. But his new music is not for sold out concert stages, but for the theatrical stage. On it’s pre-broadway run, Last Ship comes to Chicago for a much-anticipated run in June 2014 at the Bank of America Theatre.

Inspired by Sting’s own childhood, Last Ship tells the story of Giddeon grew up watching seemingly thousands of men walk every morning build the towering ships that always loomed over their town. He wondered where those ships would sail off to when they left every Spring and wondered if his own future would be the same as the men in his town. Unsatisfied with a future building ships, he set out to the world only to return 14 years later to find he left behind much more than than he ever realized.

Be among the first in the world to see Sting’s first ever musical. In what’s sure to become a Broadway hit, Last Ship sails into Chicago’s Bank of America Theatre from June 10 through July 13, 2014.
